NOAA Data Staging
This project focuses on harnessing the real-time data streaming and analysis capabilities of the NOAA GOES satellites
SAGE Data Streaming
This demonstration showcases the SciDX Streaming capabilities, leveraging both the SciDX POP Library for managing data objects and the Streaming Library for real-time data streaming and processing.
EarthScope Data Streaming
The EarthScope Consortium (www.earthscope.org) streams three-dimensional Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS). These high precision ground-motion time series are used to study a range of geophysical phenomena including earthquakes, volcanos, tsunamis, hydrologic loads, and glaciers. As part of the National Data Platform (NDP) EarthScope pilot project, the EarthScope GNSS position time series streams are being stored and made available from Data Collaboratory Kafka servers at the University of Utah. This use cases demonstrates tools for access and plotting of sample real time streams and is the foundation for additional services being developed that will facilitate time series analysis including machine learning.
On-Demand Fakequakes
On-Demand Fakequakes (ODF) is an easy-to-use web application for simulating earthquakes. With an interactive graphical interface, users can customize simulations without needing complex coding knowledge. ODF runs on the cloud, harnessing powerful computing resources to quickly execute simulations and deliver organized results. The platform integrates with the National Data Platform (NDP) for sharing and discovering simulation datasets.
USPTO: AI in Science Workflow
We have compiled a use case highlighting how NPD and SciDx can search through registered data and perform in situ analysis, returning only the results instead of the full dataset.
